KIBA UNBOUND [PROLOGUE]
In the heat of the desert, the demon slept, his oaf self trusting that nobody was to disturb him. Yet, this was not the realm of the demons that he had lived within for so long. On the contrary, this was the realm of man and other species he had yet to encounter. It were to spook him when suddenly, he had been surrounded by men clad within sable black clothing.
In cuffs, he had begun to be escorted to the back of a caged caravan, where a diverse bunch of people were chained. Kiba could not focus quite well on what was occurring here, since he had been so drowsy from being woken up. It was not until he was plunked within the back of the caravan and begun to dose off once again that he was to discern for the first time ever, the words of a human, and quite the foolish one at that.
[?]: "Is there anyone that will help us.. this is hell.."
Kiba, the demon desperado, shot up from where he slept upon hearing what the moronic human said there, cracking his cuffs accidentally.
Kiba: "Oi!! What did you say there, girl?"
Menacingly said the dark eyed demon, before one of the older chained humans with a long beard was to burst out laughing.
[?]: "Bahahaha! Nale, dontcha anger a demon! Yknow, clearly, this young man is from hell! So, watch yer language!"
A wise man he was, and so Kiba were to give the girl a rest, but was to shimmy to the corner of the caravan, to try and get some precious shuteye. However, then, right when the demon was to begin to fall back asleep, he was to be awoken, once again, to his dismay. Ah, what was going on this time!? Kiba groaned, but what seemed to be happening was that the girl were to cozy up beside the demon, before begging the grumpy demon to break her and everyone else out.
Eh!? Kiba had no clue why she was coming to him for help, he cared not a rat's ass for her or these folk. Kiba just simply wished to have a peaceful nap, undisturbed, for once, since being exiled from hell had been quite the stressful ordeal for him.
It was rather lonely for him to not have his childhood gang of henchmen. Kiba sighed, before trying to sleep just once more, while the human girl laid beside him. It seemed she was rather persistent to have him help them. However, the demon cared not one bit. An hour was to pass of caravan travel before the back of the caravan was to open up, shining the bright light of the blistering sun unto the enslaved peoples.
It was then though, that Kiba was to wake for the last time now today. In a pure rage, the demon was to roar out to the slavers that had woke him, before standing up, with his cuffs clearly broken off him. Afraid of the demon, some of the enslaved peoples were to back off from him, pinning their backs unto the caravan wall.
Kiba: "I have been woken one too many times, you bastards!"
In anger, he yelled out, his muscled body standing tall before the enslaved peoples behind him that were scared of what may come next.
A grunt: "Oi! damned brat, do we need to teach ya a lesson!?"
It were to be then that Kiba was to stretch his arm, nearing ever closer face of the grunt with each step. Upon reaching for his revolver, Kiba was to pounce on the foolish human, disarming him with a backhand. Utterly speechless by what the demon had just done, he was to back up, and reach for his knife next. However, the man was to be too slow. Kiba were to rush up to him and grab his face violently, before then throwing his body towards his two companions behind him. In that moment, Kiba was to dash for two others, disarming them as well with two swift knees, and then two quick jabs to knock them out cold. Once the slavers were out, Kiba was to stretch again, before yawning loud.
In the back of the caravan meanwhile, the people cheered for the demon that had rescued them. In truth, Kiba could not care less, but either way, the freed people rejoiced. It would be on the bodies of the slavers that they were to find the keys to unlock their chains. Once the girl, Nale, was freed, she were to help lead the caravan of people back to town. Exhausted from being woken up constantly by people, Kiba were to lay down yet again within the back of the caravan for the last time, trying to get some shuteye for once and for all. It was all fine and dandy for now, but what awaited Kiba when they were to enter society was to be nothing short of an adventure.
Upon the horizon laid the borough of beastman, a town governed by a supposed local hero that had long kept a plentiful of diverse peoples safe. It was the promised land for the freed slaves essentially. In the back of the caravan, Kiba slept, hoping he could enjoy his nap. However, when the town came within view, the entire caravan of folk were to scream and shout, quite excited that they were about to enjoy freedom, alas. Yet, to their sudden dismay, the demon, Kiba, were to wake. Infuriated with the noisy buffoons, Kiba was to roar out to the entire caravan, before then..
the ground below the caravan was to rumble violently. Huh? Kiba was to stop yelling for a moment, curious to why the ground under the caravan was shaking like that. In fear of the demon and what was happening now, the freed folk were to cower, scared for their lives. Yet, one person was not to cower, and that were to be that girl from earlier, Nale. It seemed she was just a bit curious of what was happening. Anyhow, Kiba was to leap out of the caravan, with the intent to find out what caused that vicious quake.
Kiba: "Oi! fuck are you!? I'll just have to beat your ass too then, huh!?"
In pure rage, Kiba roared to the desert beast that was to burrow out from the earth, blocking the path to the town. In the face of the demon was to sit a horned beast that resembled that of the devil creatures that Kiba saw back home quite often. It stared at him ominously, ready to shred the demon apart. However, Kiba was far stronger than just to let himself be gobbled up by a shitty monster. Kiba had no choice but to play rough now. In a rage, the demon man was to charge and dash at the monster, appearing before the beast, reeling his arm back. Yet, the beast seemed to be unfazed. It was to curl up within a spiked ball, before then.. spinning! Huh!? It spun right for Kiba, seeking to crush and stab him to death.
If the demon did not pull back his arm, his arm may be as good as shredded. In haste, the demon was to retrieve his arm from the punch he was just about to fully make. Instead, Kiba was to roll out the path of the beast. However, before he was to make the full roll to the side, the demon was to realize that he could just simply strike the beast from a blind spot. In that moment of weakness for the monster, Kiba was to unleash a mighty punch unto the side of the sand devil.
Its roll was to become undone by the heavy punch of the demon, revealing the tail of the monster. Enraged, Kiba was to grasp ahold of the tail of this fat sand dragon and lift the beast, before then slamming the monster down with pure force. It were to make a large groan out to the sky, writhing with agony. Kiba was to deal the last blow to the beastly devil by jumping high up, before then driving his foot down unto the exposed stomach of said monster. It were to lie over, knocked out cold, likely dead, but probably just out of commission for a while. In the debris that followed, as the desert sand cleared from the air, the silhouette of the demon, Kiba, was to be all that was left standing. In the back of the caravan meanwhile, the freed folk were to continue to cower, terrified of what was occurring.
It was to be then though, that suddenly, the lead guardsmen at the gate of the town was to call out to the others. Huh? In mere seconds, the guardsmen that consisted of beastmen and humans were to begin to surround the demon, Kiba. If one was to take a peek out of the caravan, what they were to see would be the chief guard captain approach the demon, as the demon was circled by spears. If say even Kiba made one small gesture, those spears would lop his head right off, and ensure his head went flying. It was a great offense what Kiba had just committed here at the gate to this refuge town. In the face of the demon, the chief guard captain were begin to vehemently yell out the following:
[?]: "Oi ya bastard, do you know what you've done here!? I ought to have you executed right he-"
It was then, before the soldier said a word more, his face was to be grasped with pure violence. Kiba gripped the face of the man tightly. If not for the clumsiness of the chief captain though, the other soldiers would have been able to lop off the head of the demon. Yet, now, they were at his mercy now that he had took the captain as a hostage. Infuriated to the point of laughing out loud, Kiba was to roar out to guards that he, the demon exiled from hell was to now conquer this town. Yet, then suddenly, the girl from earlier, Nale, was to shout out to the guards that Kiba had helped them get free, and that he was only trying to protect them. Utterly confused at why Nale, a daughter of one of the lead soldiers of the town was with the demon that had just downed the gate beast, the guards were to begin conversing with each other.
Kiba meanwhile, with the captains' face within his grasp, was to pause his evil monologue, starting to be confused what was happening. It was rather odd how much authority the young lady seemed to have over the soldiers, but her plead to the guards seemed to relax them. However, the truth of the matter still stood; Kiba had committed a crime for defeating the gate beast, and violently grabbing the face of the chief guard captain. Anyhow, within the confusion, Kiba were to have his ear pulled on by Nale, being told to let go of the guard captains' ear. Kiba, confused, but angry, was to throw the captain to the side, allowing him to eat dirt, as he began to try and intimidate the foolish human girl. Upon her chin, his thumb and index finger were to lay, as his dark stare was to try and pierce her mortal soul. In that moment, the woman was to freeze up, surprised that there was someone like this who had the courage to even lay a finger on her.
However, then, out of shyness, Nale was to kick the demon's family jewels. In reaction to what the evil woman had done to him, the demon was to fall to his knees, grasping at his balls. How could she have defeated the demon this way? It was foul play Kiba thought. Anyhow, now fallen, the demon were to find himself cuffed suddenly by guardsmen, being then brought to a holding cell. It seemed that Kiba was to await a trial behind bars now, but meanwhile, as he was locked up, the demon was to sleep. It was about time for Kiba. Perhaps being caged up wasn't so bad, at least for a day or two to nap, and receive free meals. In his rest time, the demon would just eat and nap for the most part, but whenever he was bored, he could be seen just performing pushups and the sort by the guardsmen.
It was a true demon from hell, the guards thought, and so they made sure to keep quite the eye on him, not allowing him out of their sight. In the time he was caged up, Kiba were to be quite bored, but soon enough, the demon was to be freed. How? why? well, supposedly, Nale was the daughter of a chief general soldier, and by her grace and explanation of the situation, Kiba were to be let go. In front of the beast, Nale was to stand with her hands on her hips, with a scolding face directed at the demon. Kiba merely was to look away, trying to not make eye contact with her, else he were to likely grow shy. Anyhow, the woman had seemed to wish to make a deal with the devil, wanting to talk to him. Eh? Kiba was to find that funny, but still, he was to entertain her silly propositions.
Nale: "Ah, well.. you see, I uh, I found out that.. this town is run by a vampire.. and he is now trying to slowly turn the entire town into his obedient henchmen. I believe my dad may be at risk of turning.. I had noticed earlier your strength, and thought perhaps you may be able to help. If you do.. we can work out some sort of compensation."
It did sound tempting, the devil could not deny. Is this where his fate had led him? Kiba was to rub his chin, feeling that he could not let this deal pass him up. In truth though, he just wished to fight this so called vampire that ruled over this township. It did not matter to him what reward he got for his efforts; Kiba merely wished to fight and defeat him. Kiba was to nod, acting like he was really pondering hard on the request of the woman, until then he was to come to a decision. A snap of his demon fingers, Kiba was to smirk, before then shooting the brat a cunning stare. In fear of what the demon were to request for compensation, Nale was to sweat nervously, before saying to him the following.
Nale: "Aha.. nothing lewd! I am fine!"
Afraid of what the demon was concocting within his head, she had felt the need to say that.
Kiba: "Hm? I never said anything about lewd. Is that what you're thinking now?"
In jest and curiosity, he replied.
Nale: "Haha! Anyway! Okay, cmon, let's get you out!"
It was then, that the start of a journey for Kiba were to have begun. Nale was to drag the demon out of his cage, and all the way down to his home, where he was to be able to wash up and enjoy the luxuries of a home. However, the demon was to be on a temporary probation, so he did not cause or stir anymore chaos within town. It had been enough that he had beat up the gate beast that kept the town safe from desert raiders. Kiba, dirty, was to have a hot bath started for him upon Nale and his' arrival to the house. Nale did live away from her father and mother who lived elsewhere, and since she was eighteen, she actually worked a job as a hunter for the town. It meant that the woman hunted bandits, beasts, and more recently, dragon balls, orbs said to be able to summon a dragon that will grant the user a wish. As the demon were to bathe, he was to reflect on what a vampire even was, not having heard that term before. It must be an earthly race, Kiba thought.
Once he was done with bathing and had washed himself off, he was to walk out the bathroom with his family jewels dangling about, but right as the demon was to step out, a shoe was to be violently thrown at his head. Kiba, with his quick reflexes, he was to grab the shoe midair and stare back at the person who had thrown the item. In embarrassment, Nale was to cry out to Kiba that the towels were hanging on the door. Kiba must've not noticed. Anyhow, now drying himself down, he was to garb himself within his clothes again.
In the living room, Nale was to lay out her plan she had concocted to take down the deadly vampire. It would be on the couch that the two conspirators were to then discuss the details of the mission. It first began with Kiba, the exiled demon from hell to sign on as a hunter, and earn the trust of the vampire lord. Once the demon was able to do that, he would need to be called on by the vampire for an honorary supper with the lord. Nale couldn't know how strong Kiba was exactly, but he was her only hope to take him on, the diabolical vampire lord, Nosferatu.
It began tomorrow: Kiba's first hunt. In the horizon, the sun was to set, before then rising again as the night began to end. In a sleeping bag, Kiba slept, meanwhile, Nale slept on her own cozy bed. How may Kiba fair as a hunter? It was yet to be seen, but one thing that was certain, was that chaos would ensue wherever the demon went. Nale were to be the first witness to the tales of Kiba, and the first person to join him on his brand new journey within the realm of man. Kiba was to rest quite well but when he were to hear the chickens crow at sunrise, he was grow rather annoyed. In a rage for being woken, he was to storm out the house, and begin to search for the source of that stupid chicken that dared disturb the demon. Kiba was hellbent now on frying that damned chicken. However, just before Kiba was to get his demon hands on the feathered fowl, Nale was to wake and stop the grump.
Nale: "Bad demon!"
An upset Nale was to scorn the demon.
Kiba: "Eh!?"
In frustration that the woman was to stop him, he was to storm off with a stoic face. Not wanting to let the angry demon stray far from her, she was to dash after him, grasping his wrist firmly. Kiba felt the hold of her hand on him, but was not to look at within her eyes. Nale was to then tell Kiba what the task was for today, and that as compensation, she were to ensure the demon has a roof over his head and food on his table. Kiba were to reluctantly go along with her. Nale was to explain to him that here, farm animals were common, and chickens crowing at sunrise was normal. Kiba was to need to get accustomed to sleeping earlier, so as when the chickens began to crow, he wasn't still tired.
Anyhow, the day was just beginning now, and the demon had much to do today. Nale had concocted a plan to really test out Kiba, and see the extent of the demonic power he wielded. If the duo wished to earn a spot within the inner circle of Nosferatu, the two had to conquer the wildest of the hunter missions that were available. Nale, while not a very strong fighter, she was quite the capable strategist. Nale has long since utilized both her brains and polearm skills to capture crooked bandits and free slaves from the slavers that roamed this unlawful wasteland. If the demon was to just comply, then perhaps Nale and Kiba may make a powerful duo. However, obviously, Kiba had severe issues with following others, let alone her who feeds him. It was the biggest pitfall for her plan of hers. It was hard earning enough of his respect, and could be said to be a whole separate mission.
Once the two had donned their attires proper, they were out to town to the mission board for hunters. Nale was to find quite the perfect mission for them to obtain favor with Nosferatu. It was a true gem that she had laid her eyes unto, but, could the two really succeed? It was quite hard to say. In her peripheral vision, as she was reading over the mission posted, she was to realize Kiba had begun to pick a fight. Huh!? Oh no, he had begun to do exactly what she said not to, again. However, this time though, this really was not his fault. It was the prejudice of town folk who had never laid eyes on a demon before, a being said to bring chaos and evil wherever they went.
Hey now though, Kiba wasn't evil, right? or was he? Kiba were to try not to cause a ruckus this time, and listen to Nale. However, when a gold class hunter were to come up to him, provoking him to start a fight before everyone, he could be seen visibly upset, but holding himself together best he can. Upon noticing this go down, Nale was to rush over to the side of Kiba, grasping his wrist and then yelling out to the other hunter. It would be an understatement to say that Kiba was surprised by her standing up for him.
Nale: "Cmon now! Act like a hunter, you bully! If he was truly how he say he should be, then he would have torn you to shreds by now! Kiba may be a demon, but he is my partner, and we will rise the ranks! Isn't that right, Kiba!?"
In shock and annoyance, the hunter was to take a step back with his right heel up, before then proclaiming to the duo that he shall claim the lost treasure from a recently apparent wrecked pirate ship. It was meant to be a special mission designated only for gold class hunters, but, from either a wish to see the duo fail miserably or out or arrogance, the boastful hunter was to offer the demon and his partner an opportunity to join along.
Gold Class Hunter: "Heh, so what do you say? It is a kraken that had wrecked the ship. It is probably still around, and lurking. If mister demon here can bring down that kraken, I will share the profits of the mission with ya!"
It was a bit sketchy, but a fire had been lit within Kiba, and the blazing passion to go on that mission was felt by Nale from a mile away. It was no use then, Nale thought. Anyhow, now the time had come for the very first mission of Kiba! It was quite literally now or never. Kiba were to smirk as Nale and him were to take up the offer, rather excited to see what this kraken thing was. Nale did know Kiba downed the town guardian, but could he best a kraken? It was hard to tell from what she had known of the demon, but was she did know, was that Kiba has continuously astounded her. In tow with the the hunters, the duo was to set out for the beach, on a long journey to uncover the lost treasure. It were to be during that trip to the coast of the desert that the demon was to be asked questions regarding his time spent within hell, and why he had come here. It was quite a tough subject to discuss for Kiba though, but he were to reluctantly say just a tad. However, Nale seemed to also be a bit curious.
Kiba: "Well, ya see, I didn't cmere by choice. I hate you humans. I heard that you all were stupid. Eh, but I guess there are some okay humans. I've never heard of you beastfolk people though, that's for sure! Oh and yeah, I was talking about hell, so yeah, hell uhm.. very snobby place! I hate all those devil princes telling you what to and what not to do. It was cause I rebelled that I ended up being.. well.. exiled and no other choice but to come to the mortal realm. It is really fucking hot here though, sheesh."
Complained the demon, scratching his head. It were to be quite weird for the others to hear the demon talk so nonchalantly about hell and him disliking humans. However, the calm nature of the demon as he revealed how he came to this land definitely did manage to relax them, oddly enough? Anyhow, the demon and the other hunters kept their pace steady, but obviously the weather was sweltering. Yet, their destination was so close now. Kiba and the hunters were to need to just persevere, but this heat was to definitely start to irk the devil. In the horizon, they could see the water! It must be just up ahead now. Kiba was to smile with zeal, quickening his pace, racing forward to reach the beach. Nale and the others were to try to keep up, but this muscle bound demon was quite fast on his feet. Once the demon had traversed far enough from the group though, a rumble from underneath the sands were to be felt.
Huh? Is it another one of those dumb beasts from earlier? yknow, the one that was at the gate of the town? Kiba was to cock back his arm, and clench his fist tight, prepared to let this unknown foe taste his knuckles. It was to be then that a slaying scorpion was to emerge out from the coastal sand, a vicious beast that has even stolen the lives of gold class hunters. It was a rare beast to ever come across for hunters, and so, due to this, the gold class hunters that were present were to be very cautious, knowing this not to be an easy foe. Once the scorpion came out the sand, Kiba was to let his fist fly toward the face of creature, unafraid of the menacing foe. It was at that moment that the lead gold class hunter were to yell out to Kiba to halt and retreat:
"Idiot, just back off! It's a slayer scorpion!"
Yet, Kiba was stubborn, and refused to listen. In an excitement to beat this scorpion to a pulp, he was to let loose his ferocious punch. Upon his fist striking the scorpion, the beast were to grin, knowing that this prey cannot stand a chance to the raw might of the slayer scorpions. Kiba could not believe this. It was to be than that the demon was to be grasped by the pincers of the creature, and thrown to the side violently. It would not be that easy though to rid of the demon. Kiba was to keep a grip on the pincers, and not let himself be thrown. Instead of being tossed to the side, Kiba was to continue fighting until the end, wishing to defeat this giant scorpion at any cost.
In his dark gaze, a ferocious fire was lit. Kiba was to grasp the pincers of the scorpion, trying to rip apart the pincers from the body. However, those pincers were quite strong and did not wish to relent. Kiba, no matter how hard he pulled nor how he hit this scorpion, the beast would not fall. It was truly a terrifying foe. However, the rage of a blood thirsty demon was far more menacing than any wild creature that roamed this planet. Kiba were to be slammed down onto the sand, and was to really eat sand, but was to not let go of the killer scorpion no matter what. It was as he did this that the clever Nale, with her spear, was to lead a charge at the scorpion as the beast was distracted with the hardheaded demon.
Kiba was to grin, and strike the beast once more, as the others were to pierce the exposed belly of the scorpion. It was a success! It began to bleed badly once the others' spears pierced the stomach. However, the creature was quite stubborn as well. It were to swipe at the others, cutting the bulk of them, except Nale who was to have dodged the scorpion. It was at that moment that Kiba leapt from the grip of the beast, and was to land upon the armored back of the scorpion. Kiba were to tightly grip the neck of the creature, and with his pure bloodlust, he was to pull violently, until the neck began to rip off the body of the mighty beast. It was a terrifying scene for the gold class hunters whom had never seen a demon this barbaric.
In the air, the blood of the decapitated scorpion was to gush out, spilling out of the body. Kiba was to grin, proud of the beast he had just had slain with his bare hands and the help of the hunters. It was quite a brutal method of killing the creature, but the hunters definitely approved. Nale though just sighed, content that they survived this, though the other hunters did receive cut wounds. However, luckily, the wounds weren't too deep. It would have spelled trouble for the mission otherwise. Kiba were to stand from the victory he had just seized with his own hands and wipe the blood off him. It had now become clear to the woman that this demon, Kiba, was unpredictable, and a true force to be reckoned with. However, can Kiba truly defeat Nosferatu? It was still hard to tell right now. If anyone could though, Kiba could.
In a pool of blood, he rose to his feet, facing the others. It was time to proceed onward. Kiba were to begin traversing on to the beach where a gigantic sea monster was said to rest, having had a feast with the pirate crew that treaded the waters without proper care. In spite of being told to wait, Kiba was to venture on to the beach, as the others started to get patched up. Nale was to need to rush after her companion once the hunters were all bandaged. In the setting sun, the demon was to brush himself off as he ran for the sandy coast that met the horizon. It was quite beautiful, Kiba had to admit. It was a first for the demon to witness such a picturesque and tranquil scene. Earth thus far, while a very tough land to survive, had plenty of lovely sights to see. Kiba were to sit down for a moment. In his view lied the shimmering waters of the sea, a great vastness of blue hued by the orange sunset. In no time, once the others had got patched up, Nale was to pop behind Kiba and walk to his side as he stared at the falling dusk.
Nale: "Earth is beautiful, hm? I have no clue what hell is like but, there is a lot of beauty to be found here. It is worth protecting I think."
Kiba were to hesitantly nod, a bit curious to how a beautiful such as this had even lasted this long. However, Kiba had not come to this realm for the sights. In truth, the demon was here cause he had to evolve. It was a necessary step for Kiba to enact his vengeance upon the demon realm. If he ever sought to vanquish the dastardly authority that ruled hell, he had to first become stronger. Kiba was no hero, nor was he a villain that hoped to conquer anything though. Kiba just merely wished to do what he pleased, as he pleased, without the authority of any one place overseeing him. It was as simple as that. Kiba did not care for what the just or the evil wished for, as morality was trivial to him. In this world, the strong had the authority to do as they wished, and there was nothing more and nothing less to that fact. Kiba merely wished to live a life that was merely his and just his.
Kiba: "Huh.. Welp, not my duty to protect this place. I am a demon yknow, I am just here to do as I please, Nale."
A light smile upon his face whilst he told her that, the woman was to blush, grabbing her hair and placing her hair before her face. However, then realizing the idiocy of what he said, she had begun to berate the demon.
Nale: "If this planet became ruins, then we'd have no place to go yknow! Jeez.. be wiser.."
It was then that Kiba would laugh with the woman, for the first time ever. Anyhow, the pair of novice hunters were to start looking to the sea once more, before then, the gold class hunters were to shout out to them that parts of the wrecked pirate ship had been found. If that was the vessel that had been submerged by that supposed sea behemoth, then just where did that beast go? Nale was to be cautious, and keep a fair distance from what the gang did find of the treasure, fearing that the loot may just be what the beast will use to lure us hunters. It was not wise to underestimate how cunning a few of these deadly creatures can be.
In the moment that was to follow, the waters on the shoreline were to begin to wave back and forth slowly but surely. Ah, so this was a trap, and Nale was right. Kiba were to fixate his eyes unto the rolling waters, before then stretching his body out, preparing for the worst. If he had to be quite honest, he had never once fought a beast that could quite literally have the sea quake. Oh well. Kiba cared not for what he faced, and was truly afraid of nothing, for he was a demon from hell. A wave of water were to rise out from the sea and crash unto the sandy shore, whilst the other hunters tried to escape the grasp of the now dark black sea. Kiba was to grin and rush to meet this wave head first, fearless of the terror of the ocean before him. Nale was to shout out to him to not dive within that wave, but she were to be too late. Kiba wished to secure the treasure, as the other hunters would not be able to under these extreme conditions.
If one was to stare up at the sky at this time, they may notice the greying clouds that had begun to darken. It was about to rain, perhaps even storm. It mattered not to Kiba though. In the face of this grandiose wave of water, he was to dive and grasp ahold of a part of the wrecked ship that had the bulk of the treasure. However, the water sure did pull on the demon vigorously, as the demon was to struggle with his footing. Yet, still, the demon stood tall and mighty, unwavering. Once the wave had begun to subside though, what was to be unveiled from having been underneath the treacherous waters was to truly shock every person at that beach. It was none other than the menacing kraken, the same one that had capsized the legendary pirate crew that had treaded these western waters. Kiba was a demon yes, but, devilmen were not to be underestimated, and certainly not one as chaotic as him, Kiba.
A crack within the black clouded skies were to sound as the gigantic cephalopod was to rain down his elephant sized tentacle. In the now thundering and pouring weather, Kiba were to roar out to the sky, his beast being unleashed from within himself. Nale was to try to step back from this horror that she witnessed, but were to trip and fall on her back, before then propping herself up with her trembling right hand. Kiba was truly a demon she said to herself, cause really, who within their right mind would challenge a terror of the sea like this? Nale was right to think of the demon as pure bred, because he was unlike anyone she had ever seen before. In his primal and wild state, this demon was quite a force to be reckoned with. Kiba desired blood and utter carnage.
Nale had been lucky to have befriended the demon rather than having became an enemy of his. Otherwise, he could have truly made a bloodbath with her and the town. Kiba was to meet the tentacle of the cephalopod with his fist, but under the overwhelming pressure of the attack, he was to be sent flying to the sand behind him. Kiba was to lay out on the shore, his body sprawled out, seeming like he had fallen by the first hit to him. Yet, nothing could be farther from the truth. Kiba was merely just starting to have fun with this. In his entire life he had yet to fight a being with this much might beside one elite demon that was under the direct orders of the demon lord to take out the gang Kiba led.
However, perhaps this being may be even stronger. Ah, so the mortal realm had quite a lot of surprises then, huh? Kiba was to pick himself up, and exhale deeply with menace. Astounded by the devilman, the beast was to throw out his tentacle once more, trying to fall this demon for the last time now. Yet, sadly for the monster, Kiba was only now really gearing up for the fight. Kiba were to grasp the tentacle with both arms now, though being crushed by the weight, he were to persevere.
In a burst of violence, the demon was to flex his arms' muscles vigorously, trying to squeeze the tentacle with all his might. However, when the demon was to begin to crush the tentacle of the cephalopod, the beast was to squirm wildly and was to try and throw Kiba off. Into the dark skies the tentacle was to fly, before then, a lightning bolt was to strike! It was to just barely miss the tentacle of the beast, before then, the demon were to vanish! Kiba was gone. Atop the gigantic tentacle of the leviathan, Kiba was to bolt with vigor for the head, filled with pure raw bloodlust. As the boots of the devilman pattered on the surface of his tentacle, the beast was to freak out, starting to whirl his limbs wildly to crush Kiba.
In order to not fall from the tentacles, Kiba was to grip the skin of the beast with his boots even more rigorously, trying to keep his balance as he was to begin pummeling the head of the cephalopod. How could this be!? It should have been untouchable! However, the demon was to prove that, even this goliath of a beast was not unstoppable and could be vanquished. Kiba was to bite and beat the head of the behemoth of a beast with vicious savagery, until then, his foe was left no other choice, but to begin to try and drown the barbaric devilman. Into the deep dark waters Kiba and his foe then went, but during the delve down, the demon had no plan to quit beating on his prey. Kiba, even under the depths of the rolling waters, under the storming dark sky, under the cosmos of this mortal realm, he was not to cease his fight, not for anything.
It would be here and now. It was him, and only him who was to come out the victor of this brawl, for he could not let his pride lose here. In his dark gaze, one could see that the desire for carnage and evil were to begin to corrupt his spirit and heart whole. It fed his strength. Kiba were to jut his fist deep within the eye of his foe, and begin to rip and tear at his prey with not a shred of mercy. Oh, quite the gruesome sight this was but, but, not one anyone besides Kiba were to lay witness to. It was just his prey to take care of here. In the very end, the beast were to have lost an eye. Kiba had won, but having done so only from being even more of a ferocious beast than his foe. Kiba swam up, his body drenched with water and the blood of the behemoth he had just beat to a pulp.
Kiba: "I've won damnit!"
An enraged and exhilarated Kiba bellowed out from his chest. In the wake of the victory, rain and roaring thunder was to shower the shoreline. As the hunters were to bear witness to this monumental triumph of Kiba, they who previously doubted him and shunned him, were to begin to cheer him on. Kiba truly paid no mind to the others though. In truth, he just cared that the young woman he had begun working with was safe and sound. Emerging from the depths of dark ocean, Kiba was to plant his foot unto the shore, his wet boot gripping the wet sand firmly. So, ho did Kiba conquer the leviathan, plenty of the men and women could not help but wonder. Yet, Kiba cared not to elaborate on his methods, rather, he just wanted to secure the treasure and the safety of his partner.
It was not a matter worth discussing right now for him. In his drenched but exhausted state, he was to take just a few steps on land before then suddenly.. he was to drop. However, lucky for him, the men and women he had stunned were to take care of any of the wounds that the demon had amassed during his wild fight. Nale was to be right by Kiba all the meanwhile, the devil being under her direct supervision. Once all was said and done, the curtains of midnight were to begin to now close on the day and this eventful mission of theirs. It was time now for the hunters to rest easy with the treasure procured and the menacing leviathan conquered.
