Objective: Yangcong's trial date has approached in order to prove his innocence in the case. New evidence was founded and now his lawyer and him are discussing what they can do before they go to the court room. Could this new evidence help or hurt Yangcong's case!! 750 Words
Yangcong sitting in a 10ft by 10ft room just waiting for his lawyer to show up. Being cuffed to the table he looked over at the guard who now began to uncuff him. His lawyer had arrived and siting across from Yangcong.
"Your court date is a week away and I have found new evidence on the case."

"What's the new evidence?"

"The first evidence is a witness that was in the area. He stated that he spotted the galactic patrol officers attacking you first. The second evidence is that the officers tried covering up the amount of casualties on your end and falsifying the reports stating that your group was a group of pirates, when in reality you guys were Earth space military. With both of these two new findings on the case, they will have a tough time trying to debunk such claims. Also the new witness, was threaten by the cops and video footage of that incident was obtained. They are trying to put this under the rug and bury it. Because they know that if you win your case, the galactic patrol will have to pay Earth's military for what they had done, along with paying you your dues. We are talking millions. And since your first trial ended up in a hung jury, this is the best shot we have at you being freed from a crime you didn't do."

"Thanks for the information, but I have to ask this. How are my parents doing?"

"They are wishing you the best and know that they can't attend the court matters"

"I understand. The reputation of our family and the cameras involved wouldn't look good."

The conversation had ended and a week had passed. Yangcong was now in court with Judge Buffalo. Everyone took there seats and Yangcong was now listening to what the judge had to say.
"We are here in the case of Yangcong V. the Galactic Federation. The way this will work will be simple. We already have done jury selection, two people from Earth, Namek, Plant, Arcose, Yardrat, and the Demon Realm. After that will be done, each lawyer will be making their opening statements and the next day we will be going into our witness list, now then let me talk to you the jurors about this case.
Only believe in the evidence that will be provided in the case. No biases on either side of the case. We understand that you took the time out of your lives to be here. Thank you for coming and serving your galaxy.
If any of you have any questions about the instructions just let me know and I will explain it to you. "
The jurors looking at one another with no response given.
"Good now then, I will ask each of you if you can be unbiased about this case."
They all agreed that they can all be fair about the case at hand. Moving forward, now the judge looked at the lawyers.
"Do any of you lawyers have anything to say?"
Yangcong's lawyer stood up to response.

"The new witness we had added to the list will be here tomorrow. What time do you think will be good for him?"

"If we can do it 10 in the morning, that will give us enough time for both lawyers to speak to him."

"Regarding the jurors, when do you think they will be showing up to court?"

"I expect 9 in the morning, we will be sending our agents to pick them all up and already have a hotel for them for the two weeks we will be here."

"Does the prosecution have anything to say?"
The prosecuting lawyer standing up to respond.
"Yes your honor, regarding the new witness that was stated, we haven't received that information."

Yangcong's lawyer had responded
"I sent it before we came to court this morning. You have the list as well as I do."

"I see, nothing further than judge."
The court had ended and Yangcong was placed by in hand cuffs as he stood on his feet and wearing a suit and tie as he looked at the cameras that were now taking pictures of him. He was taken back to his cell and he was given lunch this time around. His cell mate being a red brenchian had spoken to him.
"How was court today?"

"We just did the jury selection and the witness list that's all."

"Do you think you have a shot at beating your case?"

"Of course, we have new evidence that greatly helps my case."
//
"I really hope you beat your case. So many of us have been tricked by the courts that just wants to see us lose our cases and be stuck here forever."

"What do you mean by that?"

"I don't know how court is on Earth, but here in space is very much different and against criminals. I wouldn't be surprise if the judge you have a bias."

Quest Title: Trial Of The Century! (Part 02) (A New witness)

Objective: Yangcong's trial date has approached in order to prove his innocence in the case. A new witness has arrived in order to testify for Yangcong. The prosecuting lawyer is trying to discredit the witness so that Yangcong will remain in prison! 750 Words
The new witness that had arrived was a random alien species. Taking the stand he awaited for the instructions from the court reporter.
"Do you swear to tell the truth and nothing but the truth so help you Kami?"

"I do."
Now the defense lawyer was first to speak to the witness.
"Now then, tell me the events that happened from the beginning."
//
"I was traveling to the south side of the galaxy in order to get home. That's when I spotted two ships. The Galactic Patrol ship and then Yangcong's ship. The galactic patrol never had announce themselves over the radio that stated they were Galactic Patrol. So when they tried to shoot the hook over to Yangcong's ship, that is when Yangcong's ship had return fire, destroying the front part of the ship. After that happened, a few more galactic patrol ships had arrived and surrounded the ship. Soon after they were taken in custody."

"Why exactly did you wait all of this time to come forward?"
//
"I was threaten by the detectives so I decided not to help in the investigation."
//
"And what exactly made you change your mind now?"
//
"I couldn't let an innocent person be in prison due to me not speaking up."

"That is all your honor, thank you."
Now the defense lawyer went back to his seat and the prosecuting lawyer had stepped up.
"Mr Banks is it?"

"Yes sir."
//
"Now you stated in your testimony that you didn't hear the galactic patrol speaking to Yangcong is that correct?"

"Yes sir, I didn't hear anything that they had stated over the radio."
//
"And is that because you weren't close enough to hear it?"
//
"I was there, I didn't hear anything."
The prosecuting lawyer had now played the evidence tape that fateful night.
"This is the galactic patrol! Stand down and surrender!"

"Does this audio footage help you remember?"
//
"That was said after the other ships had arrived."

"Your species is the arlian species is that correct?"
The defense lawyer now speaking up.
"Objection, what does his species have to do with this?"
The judge replying back.
"I will allow the questioning to continue, please let there be a point to this. You may answer."

"Yes I am an Arleck species."

"Is it true that your species is known in the galaxy as part of the crime family in the Southern part of the galaxy?"

The defense lawyer responding back.
"Objection. that is being spacist."

"Overruled. do you have any more questions for the witness?"

"You said that you were close to the ship that you could hear it correct?"

"That is correct yes?"

"And your ship has a dash camera on it?"

"That is correct yes."

"Lets play the video."
The video being played and showing that nothing was said in the video.
"Now then Mr Banks, do you see where you are compared to the other two ships in the video?"

"Yes I do."

"What does the distance monitor say on your ship locator say?"

"That is correct yes."

"So how can you hear anything if the average hearing is within 1,000 meters away."

"Is that so? your honor I would like to bring out a hearing aid test in order to test this theory."

The defense lawyer responding back.
"Objection leading the witness."
The judge replying back.
"overruled. He may test the Arlekian."

The audio test was brought forward and explained to the witness by the prosecuting lawyer.
"When you hear the audio, you will lift your hand up."

"I understand."

Arlekian placing the noise canceling headphones on.
"Now I will be setting the audio hearing to be 1,000 meters away."

The arlekian raising his hand.
"Now I will be setting the audio hearing to be 3,000 meters away."
The arlekian just sitting there. The prosecuting lawyer then nodding over to the bailiff to remove the hearing device from the witness.
"No further questions your honor."

The judge replying back.
"Would you like to question the witness?"
The defense lawyer responding back.
"Nothing further."
The judge replying back.
"You may leave the court room and we will call you back if we need you."
The arlekian nodding and the defense lawyer now speaking to Yangcong.
"We can still discredit their second evidence so we should be fine."
Yangcong was nervous, never before did he think he would be losing this court proceeding yet again. The day was over and Yangcong had returned back to his cell.

Objective: Yangcong's trial date has approached in order to prove his innocence in the case. In order to guarantee success, the old witness has to retract their previous statement. Can the defense lawyer do just that? or will the witness be able to stick to their story!?! 750 Words
The old witness was now on the stand, having been several years now since he was last here. The old timer brenchian stood on the stand and being a former galactic patrol officer now in retirement. Yangcong's lawyer was present and looked over at the old timer and spoke.
"If we can start this off, what was your name and your rank at the time. And then just continue from there and explain the events that took place."

"My name is Guwaz and I was a Lt for the Galactic Patrol. during my time on the ship I was serving as first officer onboard. We were scouting the area because that area is close to the Pit Planet known as Dark Void. A planet that is frequent with criminal activity. So with the way Galactic Patrol works, we are allowed to stop any ship within the area and search the ship if need be. So during scouting of the area, we had spotted the ship and gave the commands. Yangcong had ignored those commands so we proceeded to fire our hooking device so that we could pull the ship in and probably onboard the ship."

"Stop right there, I want to show you a picture of something. We weren't privilege to these types of photos at the time because we didn't have the technically means of enhance zooming in, in order to make the pictures more clear. Now if you look over on the screen, do you see the generic type of ship that you Galactic Patrolmen used at the time of the incident?"

"Now do you see that opening of the compartment?"

"Yes I do."

"Now would you say that looks like a hook would come out of that or do you believe i could be mistaken for a typical canon?"

The prosecuting lawyer responding back.
"Objection, speculation."
The defense lawyer replying back.
"How is it speculation, when you can see in the corner over there, that it looks identical to the cannon."

"You may continue questioning him. I do find that base on the images here, one could easily mistake this for a canon and not a less lethal device."

You chose to attack a civilian ship and suspect them of being criminals! and instead of trying to get closer to the ship and continue to speak to them in order for them to properly hear you, your team decided to try to force your foreign object to strike my clients ship in order to force an arrest and break the space laws in order to get what you want right?
Because like you said before, everyone in this part of space are considered criminals, yet my client comes from the Planet called Earth and was exploring the area. Because if we look at history of Earths people, they didn't have the capabilities to even do such a thing until recently. So how would they know whether this side of space was filled with criminals or not? They wouldn't. Now the Captain of his ship is forced to stand on trial because he was trying to defend his people because of your peoples mistake! Isn't that right?!"

Yangcong's lawyer walking back to his seat and the judge looking over at the prosecuting lawyer.
"Would you like to cross exam the witness?"

"Nothing further."
The day of court has ended and now Yangcong heading back to his cell with a slight smile on his face knowing that he had an easy victory today in court.

The Earth military officer on the stand and beginning to speak.
"Hello everyone, my name is Derek Shacks and I was Yangcong's mentor during his academic days, along with boot camp and also we did missions together."

The prosecuting lawyer speaking to the witness.
"Well start with his academics and continue on from there."

"He was the top student in the class, showing excellent achievement at an early age. His parents donated a lot of the funds to the school, along with supporting the military as well. He always helped the other students and saw great things in them. He was a real leader to his classmates and really showed what it meant to lead someday. Moving on from that, he entered the military at 18, going into bootcamp and again, showed leadership and helping others. When a student got in trouble, he would join them in doing push ups.
He showed the dedication on what it meant to be a leader and not a follower. He was the top student at bootcamp and then later on he became a leader during all of our missions, with me helping him as support since he was new to the job. Together we had stopped local criminals from committing violent acts, to stopping terrorist from around the world.
We had later opened up a space program and since it was our first time ever going into space, we needed good leaders to fill that role so that it would promote their comrades and younger military men to join in on the cause. So we selected Yangcong to be the captain of his ship. Being responsible of taking care of 500 men and women on board, it was a big responsibility that we knew he could handle."

"You saw responsibility in him enough to allow him to fly the ship into space? were you with him during those events?"

"No I wasn't I only served with him on Earth."

"So it's fair to say you wouldn't know his experience in space because he hadn't done any prior training to it correct?"

Because let's see here, two weeks later you guys decide to put him in the space program because he was a good leader? Or did you do that because he was a bad apple and you didn't want the people to see him on Earth, so you thought putting him in space would be better?"

The prosecution had won this argument and the next witness was now coming forward.

The Defense lawyer had continued with the next witness.
"My name is Kirk Kelp, I served along side Yangcong during the space mission and the incident."

"Alright you may continue from the start."

"So we were sent to space in order to find new lifeforms. Since we had several species already on Earth that came to meet us. Majins, Changelings, saiyans, it was something new that we haven't had experience before. We as a human species are fascinated by the unknown. So given that we would try to explore space and discover something new, was a blessing for us."

"I want to speak to you now about, the reason why you weren't charge for this crime."

"We have the footage of you and Detective Bulls speaking to one another about the incident. The reason why this wasn't shown during the last trial is because we didn't have enough time last time for this case. So we had to ask you about your military career last time."

The footage was now shown and Detective Bulls was now in the room with the witness smoking a cigar.
"I understand that you are scared. You aren't use to space exploration. See what you guys did over at the Dark void sector, was a terrible tragedy. Now we understand that you weren't the captain of your ship based of your insignias. So we understand that Yangcong was the one that gave the orders that day correct?"

"Thats right."

"So tell me what happen?"

"We were exploring that sector and Yangcong had seen the giant ship. We had no idea it was part of the galactic patrol. So he saw the ship begin to open up, he taught it was a weapon."
The footage had quickly glitched to a new footage. In reality, it was Detective Bulls who decided to end the interview their and speak to the witness without the footage rolling. He wanted Yangcong to go down for the crime of what happen. So he told the witness that he would be granted immunity if he decided to side with the state. So now a new footage was added on top of the old one.
The footage was paused and the defense lawyer speaking to the judge.
"What is this? why is there a sudden pause and skip?"
The prosecuting lawyer responding back.
"Its a glitch in the system, our technology wasn't good back then."
The footage continued.
"Yangcong had told us to fire at the ship and he didn't care what it was that was coming out. He was a mad man. Just like what he had done back on Earth to those innocent family members. It was the ptsd that got him to do what he did. I tried stopping him but he didn't care what I had to say. He push me to the ground and told them to fire! To kill them all! He deserves to be in prison for what he had done!"
The footage had stopped as Yangcong had yelled in the room and stood to his feet, looking at his former officer as a lying piece of shit. Yangcong tried to move over to the officer but was quickly tackled to the ground by the space police and now he was handcuffed and a few minutes later he was now in a wheelchair and locked from the neck down in order to not act out again. Yangcong felt betrayed and couldn't believe his former friend would do such a thing.
"You see what he just did, you really think he is fit for society?"
The judge hitting his hammer and looking at the witness.
"Ignore that comment jurors, and one more outburst like that and you will be held in contempt. Now continue speaking about the case."

"I had told him that day, that we have women and children on board. We told him that our ship couldn't handle such capabilities, even though in reality we did have the capabilities to do so. I lied in order to keep him from not attacking the ship and told him that we should wait before we do anything crazy."

"So what your saying is, despite all of his high honors and what he did back then and the bribery of his parents, he was still a monster in the end that disregarded the lives of others in order to fit his own agenda?"

"That is correct yes."
Yangcong looked to the ground in sadness, he couldn't believe what he was hearing....

Quest Title: Trial Of The Century! (Part 06) (The amount of casualties )

Objective: Yangcong's trial date has approached in order to prove his innocence in the case. A space battle expert testifies about the incident that took place that fateful day. Both the defense lawyer and the prosecuting will have to go head to head in trying to tell the better story!!?! 750 Words
The ship expert had arrived to discuss the casualties in the matter and after examining both ships for hours, the defense lawyer was the first to question the expert.
"Now when it comes to ships, I can break it down for you. The ship that Yangcong was using, is considered a class 1 ship V5. when it comes to ships like that, they are able to hold up to 1,000 passengers onboard. The ship also has a medical bay, a captains quarters, and the bridge. It is also stationed with two frontal cannons, two rear cannons, an attached laser beam on the bridge, and finally, a shield barrier that is considered old based off other newer ships.
Now when it comes to the galactic patrol ships and this one particular, being a class 5 V1, it not only outpaces Yangcong's ship when it comes to speed, but their weapons are five cannons in the front, five cannons in the rear, two lasers on the bridge, and finally an up to date shield that is able to protect the ship from any other ships threat level. It also has a nonlethal hook device as well to capture nearby ships. The ship is also the same size as Yangcong's ship but a newer model.
Now based based off the placement of the hook cannon, it was placed near the ships shield attachment. Which is why when he fired his weapon, it entered the hook and exploded, thus destroying the shield attachment entirely due to it not being on since you can't fire a hook without dropping your shields down. So when that happened, a large explosion had occurred and base on the location, which was where the engines of the ship was located at, it caused a ripple effect. Where those who were on that level would have perished due to the explosion."
The defense lawyer would reply back.
"So the damage that had happened, had everything to do because of the power of the ship and not the power of Yangcong who had the time had a power level of 10. Furthermore, adding him to Galactic Patrols Prison was a horrible choice given that only the strongest aliens are sent there to begin with. In which case he doesn't fit that criteria."
The prosecuting lawyer had responded back.
"It is not only based off someone power level, it is based off the crime they did as well."
The judge replying to the statements.
"I do agree that if the case were to be in favor of the prosecuting side, that we instead move him to a colony instead. It wouldn't be as dangerous or harsh compared to living in those quarters. but lets move on into the case."
The defense lawyer speaking to the casualties expert.
"I have nothing further to add."
The prosecuting lawyer now stepping up.
"So would you say that someone who knows about ships, would be able to make that call to fire into the hook and cause that massive explosion?"

"That is possible, if someone did have knowledge of ships that is possible."

The defense lawyer speaking up in response.
"Objection, that is speculation that Yangcong has any knowledge about space ships, and from the evidence that was spoken about the other day, it is clear that he was new to using spaceships."

The prosecuting lawyer moving on.
"Now where do you work at?"

"I work in the casualties and prevention lab. Its located on an offworld planet and we are called every now and then to investigate other crashes. Whether that is in space or on a planet. We do our reports like normal and then we filed it to our superiors. From there, our superiors review it and we are given a final copy of the report to then hand over to the courts to help them with their investigation."

"And how many years have you worked in this department?"

"I have been working for this department for about 25 years of experience. I started on cars, then moved my way up to ships. I have also learned the ins and outs of ships over the course of years. So I know how to tell the difference between newer model shields, older models, I have even done cases with scouters, newer models vs old. Why do the old ones break when they reach a certain power level. Many have become blind from those types of incidents due to the older technology we had at the time."

Objective: Yangcong's trial date has approached in order to prove his innocence in the case. Detective Bulls is put on the stand to talk about the interview that he and Yangcong had at the Galactic Station. Detective Bulls will try his best to show video footage, along with trying to go against the Defense Lawyer in trying to persuade him otherwise! Will the defense lawyer show justice in the case!?!?! 750 Words
The video footage of Yangcong sitting across detective Bulls, he sat there folding his arms across his chest.
"What is your name?"

"My name is Yangcong and I am a Captain of Earth Space military."

"And what were you doing in space?"

"We were sent to space to explore the regions of it and learn more about the alien species. We had receive aliens like majins, changeling, saiyans, and a few others on our planet. So we decided to go out and explore."

"Are you aware where you were at in space?"
//
"Base on what the ship had said, it told us we were in the dark void sector of the planet."

"Do you have any idea what happens around in that sector of space?"

"I have no idea, all I know is, is that its located on the South side of the planet."

Walking towards the podium was probably one of the most difficult things Yangcong had to do during this time. He had to give his statement to the people to prove that he was innocent. The prosecuting lawyer had started the discussion.
"State your name, military status, and continue on from there."

"My name is Yangcong, I served for Earths space program as a captain. When it comes to the dedicated service that I provided, no amount of money that I gave them had any kind of influence on the matter. Over one hundred deployments on Earth, going back and forward from hell to back. Obtaining many awards and medals, along with recommendations to other units before the incident that had happen on Earth. After the incident had occurred, I was already speaking with others about the space program and told them I was interested in it, when they had told me about it. This was before the incident had occurred, so to say that it was influence from a bribery, you couldn't be more wrong in the matter.
Now moving on to the actual matter at hand here. We went to space to explore, we met with a PTO and a Saiyan Empire soldier while we were out there. We needed directions considering that it was our first time out there. So when we had went over to that sector, we didn't expect to find a pirate ship just in that area. They attacked us and we told them several times we meant no harm to them. They didn't care so I continued the attack. We were able to successfully defeat them. Then another ship had arrived and like I have stated prior.
The communications were down, so we couldn't hear what was being said to us. How can you expect anyone to react the way you want them to if they simply couldn't. To also have your hook, looking like a typical cannon and aiming it right at us, what do you expect someone to do? Let them fire upon you when you were just in battle just seconds ago?"

"Stop right there, don't you think it would have benefited you if you were to simply wait to see if they were threat to you? After all, this ship looked different than the pirate ship correct?"

"My name is Janks and I served as a PTO scout. I was just scouting the Eastern side of the galaxy in the vodika sector until I saw a massive ship coming my way. We had stopped to chat with one another, he allowed me on board his ship, told me that he was from Earth and that he needed direction to the Dark Void sector. He said that he was looking for bounties that he could collect while he was there. He said that he wanted to find the strongest of aliens so that he could recruit them in order to get more protection in space."

"And can you explain to the jury why the Dark Void isn't on any particular galaxy map?"

"So I was on planet Plant when his ship had arrived on our planet. He was trying to find weapons to buy for his ship."

The recording would end there and the witness started to sweat as the lawyer spoke up.
"So based of your testimony and what we have on the recording, it's easy to say that what you told us was a lie. He was looking for the weapon in question, he was looking for one that was found in the actual catalogue, you just pointed him to the imitation version that you had."

Yangcong stood in front of his ship, he would be the first Captains of many, to go forth into space to meet new lifeforms out there. He had his hands to his hips as his father had shown up right next to him.
"Funny how you dreamt to going to space as a kid and you are about to make it come true."

"We are going to explore space and hopefully meet some aliens along the way and have them join us."

"Be careful, it isn't all sunshine and rainbows like we have dreamed about."
They hugged each other and said their goodbyes as Yangcong now going on the ship and standing on the bridge as the ship started and now they were flying through space.
Yangcong speaking into his personal log via his recording device in his hand.
"Star date, 01. This is captain Yangcong and we are currently traveling to the Yamari system, it being our first time, we hope to meet some lifeforms that will aid us in our endeavors along the way. Signing out for now."
The first officer standing right beside Yangcong.
"I just wanted to remind you Yangcong, did you pack your pills for the journey?"

As they arrived to the Yamari system, they landed on a small off world planet. Upon arrival, they met a snail like alien that stood at the docks just cleaning it. Yangcong stepping off the ship with a few of his security with him.
"Sorry to bother you, but do you have any idea where we are right now."

"You are not from around here huh? Well you are in the Yamari system and you are current on Yamiri's moon planet. Nothing here but a barren wasteland and a gas station nearby to get supplies. Just head east from here."

As Yangcong arrived to the gas station and entering it, he saw some weird foods he never seen before. Captain Crush cereal, Fountain Dew, Meteor chips. He finally got his food supplies and headed over to the clerk.
"That will be 10 space credits."

"Here you go. I have a question I would like to ask you, can you tell me why the Yamari system only has a moon planet?"

"That's because Planet Yamari was destroyed by the PTO."

"The PTO?"
//
"You must be foreigners if you never heard of the PTO. They are a faction that is lead by Changelings."

"I see. Do you happen to know where the Dark Void system is?"

"The dark void system is just north from here. But my advice is to steer clear from that system all together."

Yangcong heading straight for the Dark Void system and upon arrival, he saw the one planet which is the Dark Void.
"I think we have found the planet we have been looking for. Alright its time we enter its atmosphere and."
A giant ship had arrived and in front of Yangcong's ship.
"This is the pirate crew known as the Yurei Boys! I suggest you give us all your valuables before we decide to come and take it from you!"
Yangcong looked to his first officer and then speaking into the microphone.
"I suggest you stand down Yurei, we mean no harm in this sector, all we want is to travel to the Dark Void planet and be on our way."
The pirate ship began firing there cannons at Yangcong's ship. Yangcong's shields were now going down. One of Yangcong's engineers started to speak up.
"Sir our shields are currently at 75%!"

"Activate the cloaking device and perform z pattern delta."
The cloaking device was activated and now the ship was maneuvering around.
"Captain what do we do now?"

"Give me a second here."

The first officer leaning in and whispering at Yangcong.
"The only way I see us winning, is for us to attack from their rear end. That ship that they have, have their engine shields located in the back of the ship. Striking there would give us the advantage. However its rather dangerous because they have more cannons on the back of the ship than the front."

Yangcong's ship was now at the back of the pirate ship, the uncloaking device had now activated and the pirate leader yelling to his crew members.
"THEY ARE BEHIND US!"

Yangcong looking at his men and pointing at the ship on the screen.
"FIRE!"

The explosion was enough to destroy their ships engine partially, along with destroying their shields in the process.

"Looks like the weapon we got from the Saiyan Empire arms dealer was enough to do that much damage to the ship huh."

The pirate ship was now firing their cannons at Yangcong, causing the shields to completely become destroyed and now the pirate ship quickly turning around and crashing straight into Yangcong's ship, causing one of the canons to come off and having them close enough so that they could beam their way onto the ship. Yangcong's officer speaking to him as he looks on the ipad.
"Sir, ten enemy soldiers are on the ship!"

"Get York and Fang over here now."
York was a hippo alien and Fang was a beast man. Having arrived to the bridge, they now waited for the soldiers to arrive. The soldiers now arriving and both York and Fang quickly disposing of them, as Yurei was now the last member on the ship and going head to head with York and Fang. The three of them fighting for their lives. Yurei attempting to swing at Hippo, connecting his fist into Hippo's face, causing Hippo to collapse to the ground and shaking part of the ship as he came down. Fang jumping on top of Yurei and scratching his armor plate off his chest, and kicking him in the chest.
Yurei flying back as he struck the wall and slumping over. Yurei was angry, getting up to his feet and immediately pulling out his revolver and firing it straight into Hippo's chest who tried running over to him. Killing Hippo in the process and Fang quickly arriving in front of Yurei and clawing the weapon out of his hand and causing Yurei to step back a bit from Fang. Before Yurei could pose any amount of threat, Yangcong fired his blaster rifle to Yurei's back, catching him off guard and giving him an almost fatal wound. Yurei beaming back to his ship and Yangcong heading over to Fang.
"Are you alright?"

"You know me Yang, tis but a scratch."
//
His first officer now shouted.
"Yangcong! the ship is trying to retreat!"
//
"FIRE!"
Before they could fire, the ship had warped away and now the Galactic Patrol's ship had arrived.
"Another ship, try hailing them."

"We can't sir, our communications are down."
Yangcong staring into the monitor to view the ship ahead of them and seeing one of their "cannons" moving to aim at them. Yangcong looking at his soldiers.
"FIRE AT THAT CANNON QUICKLY!"
The shot was fired, entering the cannons hole and the large explosion was enough to destroy the ships shields, along with its engine in the process. The officers had cheered and Yangcong felt as ease for a moment. The galactic patrol now firing their cannons at them, completely destroying the bottom layer of the bridge and destroying Yangcong's engines. Yangcong had dropped to the ground and now was being protected by Fang who was now holding up the large piece of metal for Yangcong that would of seriously injured him.
"What are your orders captain?"
Before Yangcong could speak, his first officer had spoken up,
We have five enemies on board captain, our warp drive is completely destroyed. Yangcong looking around and getting to his feet.
"It seems like it is only us three at the moment. We have to get to the lower decks."

"Captain, the lower decks are up in flames at the moment."

"We have to hunker down here then, Fang get me the armed cannon bazooka."
The arm cannon bazooka is part of the ship but can be installed to work indoors as well.

"Fang seal the doors in while I get this bazooka ready."
Yangcong detaching the bazooka canon from the ships walls and placing the heavy device on his arm. Now he would lean against the wall and pant to himself since the bazooka was heavy to carry. The first officer was on the other side of the room holding his blaster rifle, and Fang was just hugging the wall and near the sealed door.
This was going to be a fight for their lives and the five officers could be heard talking to one another as they tried getting the sealed door open. Yangcong aiming the bazooka cannon at the doorway.

The sealed doors were now being opened up, and Yangcong was quick to fire the bazooka canon straight at the five officers, killing them in the process. The first officer walking over to the bodies and raising his eyebrow.
"Yangcong..."

"Yea? did we get those bastards?"

"These guys don't look like pirates at all..."

"What are they then?"

"There uniforms say galactic patrol."
Fang responding back to them.
"They are the space police."
Yangcong's eyes widening.
"What! and why didn't they announce themselves then?"

"If we surrender, they will arrest all of us. But if we escape. Then we can just escape with our lives."

Back on the galactic patrol ship. The leader of the ship speaking to his officers.
"What happened down there?"

The head officer entering the ship and pulling out his blaster pistol. Walking through the flames and heading to the location on where the sealed door was. He spotted the individual with a power level of 300 and it was Yangcong's first officer.

The lead officer tossing the first officer some handcuffs.
"Put those on you and then press on the cuffs."
The first officer would do just that.
"Now where is your other crew members, two of them."

The lead officer speaking into his radio.
"Beam one up, it's the guy with a power level of over 300. Make sure you place him in the correct cell with two guards at all times."
The first officer was beamed up and Yangcong and Fang were now walking the hallways as Yangcong had stopped for a moment to catch his breath as Fang was carrying him over the shoulder.
"Are you alright Yang?"

"Yea I am fine."

"Are you sure?"
//
"We have been through worst old friend."
//
"hehe, remember back on Earth we destroyed that terrorist group and what did you say?"

"The only good terrorist is a dead one."
They both had chuckled as they heard footsteps approaching from behind. Yangcong now hugging against the wall and peaking over to see down the hallway, the same with Fang.
"Both of you come out, I have a scouter on me that is able to locate the both of you. Come out with your hands up, you both are being arrested for the killings of hundreds of galactic patrol officers."

"We didn't know you guys were officers, we were just in a battle with some pirates and our communications were down."

"Well now I have explained to you that we are officers now. So do you really want to continue the fight or do you want to be arrested and you can have a fair trial."
Fang whispering over to Yangcong.
"You can still run down the hallway and make it to the escape pod. I will cover you."

"If power level is more than yours."
//
"Do you trust me Yangcong?"
Yangcong nodded and quickly made a break for it and tried running down the opposite end of the hallway. The officer firing his pistol blaster and Fang stepping in to deflect the attack. Fang quickly tackling the officer and pinning him to the ground.
"Fight me instead, I am a much bigger threat."
The officer rocking Fang in the face with his fist, causing him to collapse to the side off of him. The officer now standing to his feet and aiming his pistol at Fang's face. Fang chuckling as he looks at the officer.
"We had a good run, huh Yangcong..."
The blast was fired and Fang had collapse to the ground as the officer rushing over to where Yangcong was and firing a blaster shot to his leg, which had caused him to collapse to the ground.
"You are a captain, and you let so many die for your cause. You are under arrest."

Objective: The actual event that took place that day is revealed. Yangcong is fighting for his life against foreign aliens! Will he prevail from this conflict!?!! 750 Words
Yangcong was handcuffed and beamed back to the galactic ship, being placed in a separate part of the phip and in a cell.
"Where is my first officer?"

"In another part of the ship in a cell, his threat level by power level is far greater than yours."

"Alright, so where are you taking us now."
//
"Galactic Patrol Headquarters, you will be speaking to one of our detectives. After that we will finalize the charges and you will be sent to Galactic Prison and awaiting for your trial."

"Don't I get the option of bonding out?"
//
"Funny man. So tell me, what were you doing in this sector of the galaxy?"
//
"We were looking for recruits to join our crew so that we can be better protected in space."
//
"Tell me, that white lion that was with you that I fought against, what was his name?"
//
"His name was Fang, why?"
//
"He respected you in the end. Just thought you should know that."
Yangcong was now at the headquarters station and being booked. One of the criminals he was standing in front of started to chuckle.
"Your power level is only 10 and your a human.. the heck are you doing all the way out here?!?!"

"For a crime what else?"
//
"The heck kind of crime would bring someone as weak as you all the way out here?"

"Over 500 counts of murder."
The criminal was too stunned to speak at the moment.
"What!?!?!"
Yangcong was now booked and placed in the holding cell, along with his first officer.
"What the hell happened over there Yangcong?!?! and where is Fang!"

"Fang wanted to protect me while I ran to the escape pod."

"Why didn't you give him the order to just surrender."
//
"You know how Fang is, he wouldn't have given up."

"Now what do you think is going to happen?"

"Well, we are going to stick with the story that it was self defense."

"And what if that doesn't work in our favor? We are looking at a life sentence."

"Trust me, i'm hiring the best lawyer that Earth has."

"I am done listening to you. You got us in this situation."

"What? How was I suppose to know that they were Galactic police?"

"I'm not talking about that. We were warned several times not to go over there and yet you chose to go over there for what? Recruits? We could have recruited anyone in the galaxy from any planet to help us and you decided to take us to a dangerous part of the galaxy and look at us now."
About that time, Yurei had showed up and looking at the both of them.
"Well well well, if it isn't Yangcong. You really destroyed our ship back there."

"We are pirates, we need money to survive this part of the galaxy. what did u expect?"

"How did you guys even get caught?"
//
"When we warped out of there, we were surrounded by five galactic patrol ships. Kinda crazy how fate has it."

"We just got caught with the stolen merchandize we had on our ship, what about you?"

"WHAT?! With your power level you killed that many...."

"Ships don't discriminate."
Now a galactic patrol officer had arrived.
"You there come with us."
The first officer was called and now following the officer to another room. Detective Bulls was there waiting for him.
"We have good news to tell you."

"What is it?"

"We wont be placing you with Yangcong in Galactic Prison. you can serve your time on an offworld planet of our choosing. Its less dangerous and is a level 1 prison. All you have to do to guarantee that arrange is if you promise to testify against him in trial. We promise to keep you safe. The way we do paperwork, the judge has to approve to have your document seals, unsealed and that won't happen."
Bulls now bringing his hand out to shake the first officers hand.
"Now do we have a deal?"
The first officer shaking the detective's hand.
"Deal."
Detective Bulls walking over to the galactic patrol guard and handing him a piece of paper.
"Transfer this prisoner immediately. The judge already signed this off this morning."
The first officer being taken away and heading to the off world planet to served his time. Meanwhile, Yangcong is back in the holding cell just stressing out.

Objective: Yangcong waits for the verdict to be read. His life is hanged in the balance by jurors again. Will he be set free or will he remained in prison and stay with his life sentence forever.... 750 Words
Court was starting and now the jurors have arrived. The judge was ready to give out the final juror instructions for the verdict.
"It is my duty to instruct you on the rules of law that you must use in deciding this case. After I’ve completed these instructions, you will
go to the jury room and begin your discussions or what we call your deliberations in this case. You must decide whether the Government has proved beyond a reasonable doubt the specific facts necessary to find the Defendant guilty of the crimes charged in the indictment.
Your decision must be based only on the evidence presented here. You must not be influenced in any way by either sympathy or prejudice
for or against the Defendant or the Government. You must also follow the law as I explain it, even if you do not agree with the law. And, you must follow all of my instructions as a whole. You may not single out, or disregard, any of my instructions on the law. The indictment or formal charge against a defendant is not evidence of guilt. The law presumes that every defendant is innocent. The Defendant does not have to prove his innocence or produce any evidence at all. The Government must prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, and if it fails to do so you must find the Defendant not guilty."

The jurors listened to what the judge had to say, finally, they were sent off to the deliberation room to discuss the matters. After discussing it for some time, they finally had reached a verdict. The jurors were brought in and now the judge looking it over and finally speaking up.
"We the people, find Yangcong guilty of murder and sentence him to life in prison with no parole."

An audience member now screamed at him.
"I HOPE YOU ROT IN HELL BITCH."
The judge was quick to reply back.
"Kick him out, there will be no disruptions in my court."
After the verdict was read, the judge also looked at Yangcong and spoke to him.
"You will be removed from the maximum security prison and be sentence to a penal colony system. Its a more freed environment than the one you are use to."
Yangcong was handcuffed and now placed in the back of a spaceship. Two galactic patrol officers would take him there in a three man ship. Yangcong sitting in his cell and looking at the officers.
"What is this penal colony you guys are sending me too?"

"If i'm being honest with you, you got the short end of the stick here. See, we only send the worst of the worst to that side of the galaxy. The other prison you were at, is a luxury compared to where we are sending you. Just be glad you didn't get a death sentence."

"Your system doesn't have one."
//
"Exactly."
Yangcong had now arrived at the penal state, freedom from his cuffs and the ship leaving him behind on this off world planet full of dangerous creatures and other inmates. He looked around, wondering who he will meet here. A galactic patrol officer bringing him over to the receptionist desk.
"From here you will be bunked in with a roommate while you are here."
One of the guards speaking to the other.
"Hey, why not place him with Rib?"
The other guard laughing.
"Yea, lets place him with Rib."
Yangcong raising a brow and looking at the guards.
"Who the hell is Rib?"
Yangcong was now escorted by two guards and was now being taken to where Rib was and now standing in front of the entrance to Ribs domain, Yangcong felt tense, just who the hell was this Rib guy and why was the guards acting this way towards him... Who was this Rib.. and just how dangerous was he...
