Summary: Long is a martial cultivator whose primary element is wind. As a result, he considers the dao (the path) of wind, but also the dao of darkness. As he feels that the two dao have much in common, while darkness is misunderstood and often conflated with being evil.

He is a free and mischievous figure, he dislikes being tied down to one place for very long so he cultivates while exploring. He's interested in finding a sect that will indulge his desire to explore and see the world without trapping him too deeply within steadfast ideals.

He does not consider himself particularly good or evil. He just does whatever he feels like at the moment. He doesn't consider himself particularly malicious, but he does occasionally take a joke too far.

He liked sweets and is rather fond of alcohol and food. He tends to get pretty rowdy at a party, but charismatic and cheerful he usually makes friends pretty easily. An outgoing man who is quite confident in himself.

He disliked people who lack humor or are generally too ridged in their personalities. People who are steadfast and adverse to change are just boring rocks in his opinion. People are always changing, he is always changing, and even the rocks change with enough time as the world grinds them down. To resist change is futile! Change may not always be positive, but it is important.

Long is usually care free. He's willing to help people in need if he feels either invested, or incentivized to do so. But otherwise he'll simply pass most situations by without much thought. The world can be a cruel place, and the wind cares not.

He also loves secrets. He's very good at keeping them even though one might think otherwise from how chatty he often is, and enjoying gossip with most people.

Sweets - He often finds himself craving sugar. Occasionally sour things, but often things he can chew on. He'll also put lots of sugar into his tea.

Martial Arts - He is a martial cultivator. He's often interested in improving his hand to hand, and swordsmanship.

Secrets and gossip - Weather it's personal, or public information, he loves to hear about all of it. He'll keep any secrets given to him in confidence. But he'll listen to and share any gossip he hears.

No Humor - He doesn't care for people who don't enjoy his sense of humor. People who rarely laugh or smile will probably not get along with him. He prefers his friends simularly energetic and boisterous.

Bitter and spicy - He likes sweet things. So he cares little for bitter flavors. If he ever drinks coffee, it's often with ten spoons of surgar added to it. He prefers hot chocolate. Spicy foods are even worse than bitter foods.

Bored - He likes to go out and see the world. Sticking in one place for too long often leaves him feeling restless and bored. And he'll often do random things simply for the sake of making his experience more diverse.



Biography: Long Fang is the product of a single night's unwise tryst between his human mother, and his demonic father.

His mother was a cultivator seeking power and immortality. She wanted to stay young and beautiful forever and had already become powerful enough that she was likely to his hundreds of years longer than most humans would. But it wasn't enough.

She needed more power and meeting a demon who promised her that desire struck a deal with her. He would give her a method to gain immortality in exchange for a single night with her.

He was a demon of his word, and after the night passed her left her with two gifts. A scroll that detailed the information she needed to achieve the power she wanted. And a child that would make itself known to her in the weeks to come.

When Long was finally born, he was a happy healthy young baby. And his mother fully intended to teach him her ways. When he was old enough to finally begin studying he took to it eagerly. It was apparent that he was talented from a young age, his mother had no doubt that he would become a powerful figure in the future and she was proud of him.

But learning from her he could only get so far, eventually, he was sent away to cultivate and meditate on his own.

It's been a few years since he last saw his mother, and he has only grown stronger since then, exploring much of the world. Expanding his dao in a few ways, having started with the wind he grew to feel a connection to darkness as well. He also has some connection with swords though he has yet to delve into the dao of blades. For now, he's focused primarily on wind and darkness, while also taking interest in the martial arts the world had to offer.

At the end of this little history, Long has reached twenty-six years old. Still quite young, and he still has a long way to go on his path to cultivation. But his training and meditation are constant. He often secludes himself on mountains for his training, though he can only manage this for a few days at a time. His desire to interact often leads him from city to city, simply to share a drink, and chat for a while, before once again moving on to continue his training.
