MASTERS
Is it your desire to train under the expertise of a Master? In this world, we will require means of training, and growing. It is this from this necessity, that we have Masters, and that some may even decide to become Masters. A Master is a staple of our site, so as we may learn new moves, with other unique benefits, for example; Deluxe Styles, Traits, or limited Techniques you cannot find elsewhere.
It is paramount to the development of our characters to find the Master that fits our character best, or even, become Masters ourselves eventually. If you wish to train under a Master, do note each Master has their own requirements, for example; a Request, an Arc, or some sort of plot goal being met.
Every one of the Masters will have their own distinct unique skills which you will need to consider before deciding on which one to pursue training with. Each Master is capable of training up to 2 ST, and 1 DT, and their own special Deluxe Style.
It is crucial to note though that every skill learned may have special requirement to learn, which could vary, though most of the time, they may be learnt once you have done a weekly training a certain number of times. In most cases, a Deluxe Style will be the first thing learned, as the Style will be paramount to utilizing the teachings of your Master.
A Master will grant special buffs to your training gains, or extra SP to a certain particular Stat for every weekly training done. If you are the same Tier of your certain Master, you will not receive these special buffs, unfortunately. It is key to note though; Masters can offer unique benefits too, like benefits based on one's plot, like help within a particular fight, special knowledge, or rare items!
Once a player has finished training under a Master within full, having learnt every one of said Masters' skills, they have the option to create what is known as a Variant Technique, a free Technique which enables you to make your very own special ST, based on one of your Masters' Techniques, which will be your special reward for completing training.
If a player desires, they may teach their own skills to a player, or share knowledge they know to one another, though the player must reach the rank of a Master of their Style by completing a Deluxe Arc. It will enable the user to register as an official Master on the Masters page, so they can teach specific skills they know, and Deluxe Style, to others. However, the requirements you will need to create, will vary on what Tier you may be. In order to unlock your own special Deluxe Style though, you must train one other player to completion.
TRAINING
A unique means of bolstering your character and their Stats. If you wish, you may write one single 500 word post once per two week, which will grant SP based on your Tier, for example; 1 at E, 2 at D, 3 at C. However, do note that when training under a Master, you can train one per week, rather than once per two, due to being under the tutelage of someone else. It is a crucial method to the growth of our characters.
If you would like to reduce the wordcount of your training, you may purchase training gear, which can reduce the wordcount of your weekly training for certain periods of time, which will vary based on which gear bought. In general, to learn one Deluxe Style, you require up to 4 weeks of training, though this may vary. In regards to ST this training period will be 2 weeks per ST, and then 4 weeks for the DT, though as said previously, this could vary based on Master.
