Summary: Maryam is a woman full of inner confliction. Her psyche plagued by conflict of her nature as an angel, as well as her nurturing as a demon. Born a demon, it is in her nature that she has the potential for great evil. Alas, as a angel she similarly has the potential to do great good.

She's naturally very manipulative and cunning. It's something that she does so well that it has become second hand to her. Still, it's a part of her that she hates, and while she can't help it, she has learned how to at least keep people at bay through her standoffish and aloof attitude. She keeps her emotions close to her chest, giving the impression to people that she's cold and emotionless.

In spite of what she may portray however, she's in reality full of compassion. She literally couldn't hurt a fly and would quicker let someone kill her before retaliate. Juat because she herself won't harm someone however, doesn't mean she would stop others from doing so on her behalf.



Biography: Born over four hundred years ago, Maryam Lilith Morningstar had been born into one of the most esteemed demon clans within the underworld. Her name had been passed down for countless millennia, from mother to only the most worthy daughter. Those who bare the name was the rightful heir to the clan a potential lord of hell. Although her mother had many children, Maryam was her chosen heiress. What her mother hadn't counted on however was to have twins.

For reasons that baffled everyone, the moment of her birth her mother had abandoned hell, taking up residence on Earth. Maryam and her would in turn grow up on Earth, with their mother keeping their true nature a secret. Her mother was always travelling on business, Maryam and her sister entour. Maryam had always loved and admired her mother so much that she didn't stop breastfeeding until she was thirteen, ignoring some of the obvious signs of her true nature. She wanted to be everything like her and over the years she took more and more after her.

She would be thirteen when she finally come to her senses and realize her mother's true nature. No longer enamored, she would begin distant herself from the woman who she felt had been manipulating and grooming her all those years. She would begin pursuing her own path, pursuing her her own businesses independently from her mother's.

As much as she tried to resist her true nature as a demon however, she would always find herself succumbing to them in little ways. Lying, seducing, manipulating, cheating. At one point, she admitted herself to a psychiatric centre in hopes of fixing herself. Alas, there was no denying her nature.

After thirty years of fighting her nature, she knew the only way to control it was to embrace it. And so, she would make the decision to move to Hell. She and her sister had both been met with open arms by their clan. Both sisters would soon begin making moves to try and gain conquest over hell.

As opposed to Maryam who had always been much more stern and aloof, her sister had always been naturally charismatic and beloved and would see easy success swaying other demons to her cause. The fact that Maryam couldn't conceive didn't help since that was her species specialty. And while she loved her sister and was happy for her success, she was jealous. She would begin soughting out the countless spawns of her mother, intent on growing close to them. They all had different plans since at every turn she would end up being betrayed by her own brothers and sisters.

After forty years, feeling she wasn't making enough progress, desperate, she made a deal with a demon, known as Lobos, whom she knew better than to trust. She would pay the price when he had inevitably betrayed her, enslaving her. Two hundred and fifty years... Two hundred and fifty years she would spend being tortured, humiliated and raped day in and day out. Her sister had attempted to rescue her many times over that period, but she felt like she felt like such was her retribution for some of the acts (although minor) she had commited over the years. Plus, she still felt like she could turn the tables somehow in her favour.

Once her useful had waned, her captors had released her. Freed, she would spend another another fifty years in hell before making the decision to take back up residency on Earth once she saw Hell had little more to offer her.
